Pyron keeps the same header across the top of every screen, so wherever you are you can reach the main sections and jump to search. This page walks through each part of that header and how to move between them.
The header bar
The header stays fixed at the top of Pyron. It shows the Pyron mark and the links to the main sections, and it groups search, the assistant and your account together at the other end.
The three section links are numbered 1, 2 and 3 above: Directory, Entries and Docs. The next section explains where each one goes.
Grouped at the far end you can open Search to find things across Pyron, open the Assistant to ask for help in plain language, and open your User menu to reach your profile or sign out. If your role includes administrator access, a Setup link sits here too.
When a section adds its own controls — filters, tabs or actions — they appear in a row beneath the links. You can tuck that row away with Collapse header to give the page more room, and bring it back the same way.
The three main tabs
The three links introduced above take you to the main parts of Pyron.
- Directory (1) opens the tree of places, teams and things your organisation tracks. Start with The directory for the idea, then see opening an item to move around it.
- Entries (2) opens the forms, logs and checks people have filled in across your directory. See what entries are and viewing entries.
- Docs (3) opens this help centre — the guide you are reading now.
Any pages pinned to your navigation appear next to these three links, so the views you use most are always within reach.
Setup
Setup is the home for administration. If your role includes staff access, its link appears in the header; select it to open a single page that gathers every management tool in one place.
The tools are grouped so related ones sit together — access and security, data and forms, reporting, automation, and your organisation's settings. For a tour of what each area covers, see the Setup overview. If you do not see this link, your account does not have administrator access.
Search from anywhere
The Search button in the header opens a search box you can use from any screen. Start typing and Pyron looks across your directory, entries, pages and more, showing matches as you go. Choosing a result takes you straight to it.
Search matches on the words you type. If your organisation has switched it on, search can also match on meaning — so a question like "which checks mention a safety concern" turns up relevant entries even when they use different words.
