Getting help

Where to find answers, and how to reach support.

Most questions about Pyron are answered somewhere in these guides. This page shows you how to find the right one, and where to turn when you need to reach a person.

Searching these docs

These guides are grouped into sections in the navigation — getting started, core concepts, everyday tasks, building and administration — so you can browse straight to the area you are working in.

Every page is also searchable. Open the search, type a word or phrase, and matching pages appear as you type. Choose the result that fits and jump straight to it.

A few habits help you land on the right page:

  • Search for what you want to do, such as creating an entry or sharing part of the directory, rather than an exact screen name.
  • Results span every guide, including the reference material at the back.
  • When you are not sure which section to start in, the search is the quickest way in.

Searching these guides is separate from searching your own data inside Pyron. To find things in the directory, entries and pages within the app itself, use Spotlight search. The app also has keyboard shortcuts for moving around without the mouse.

Contacting support

If a guide does not answer your question, the fastest help is usually someone at your own organisation.

Your Pyron administrator sets up users, roles and access for your organisation. They are the right person for anything about what you can see and do: getting access to a new area, changing your role, or getting back in when you are locked out — including resetting multi-factor authentication on your account.

For questions about your own account, signing in and your profile and security cover the steps you can take yourself.

If your organisation has arranged a dedicated support contact, use the channel they have given you — your administrator can point you to it.
