A page you make is yours alone until you share it. Only you can open it, which makes it the place to keep the tables, charts and metrics you check most often — and when it is ready for others, you share it with the people, roles or everyone who should see it.
Making a page
- Select New page in the header.
- Enter a name for the page, and optionally pick an icon.
- Select Create. Pyron opens the page so you can start adding content.
A private page says Only you beside its name; a shared one says who it is shared with, such as Shared with 3 or Shared with everyone. While it is private, your edits are live as you save them, so there is nothing to publish. Once it is shared, your edits stay yours until you publish them: the header counts them, such as 2 unpublished changes, beside Publish. You find it again by selecting All pages in the header: Pages lists the pages you own, and Shared with you the pages others shared with you.
The ability to make pages depends on your role. If you do not see New page, ask your administrator. See roles and permissions.
A page holds one or more tabs, and each tab holds widgets — tables, charts, and single-value metrics. See pages, tabs, and widgets and dashboards for how the pieces fit together.
Private and shared
Select Share to give a person, a role or Everyone access, each at Can view or Can edit. You stay the page's owner: only the owner can delete it or make someone else its owner.
Sharing never puts the page on anyone's Home. Anyone can keep a page they can see on their own Home with Pin to Home in its ⋯ menu; to put it on everyone's Home, someone allowed to chooses Pin to Home → For everyone.
