A dashboard of your own is a screen only you can see — the handful of figures you check most, kept together and apart from the views your team shares. You build it the same way as any page in Pyron: add widgets to a tab and arrange them to suit how you work.
New page
Every page you make starts private: only you can open it until you share it. So a dashboard of your own is a new page you keep to yourself.
- Select New page in the header.
- Enter a name, and optionally pick an icon.
- Select Create. Pyron opens the page, ready for you to say what it should show.
Being able to make pages depends on your role. If you do not see a way to add one, ask your administrator. See roles and permissions.
Saying what the page should show
A new page starts empty and asks What should this page show? Describe it in your own words — "Incidents this week by site", "Open escorts and who is on them" — and select Build: the page's draft opens with the assistant beside it, and the assistant builds the page there while you watch. You can change anything after. See The AI assistant.
Under the box, a few starters come from the kinds of entries your workspace already keeps (for example Incidents this week or Incidents by place). Select one to put it in the box, change it if you like, then select Build.
To build the page yourself instead, select Or add widgets yourself. The draft opens, and Add places a list of entries, a form, a board or a calendar. Adding and editing widgets covers arranging them.
Every widget reads live data, so its figures stay in step with the entries behind them and change as those entries change. A widget only counts the entries you are allowed to see, so what it shows follows the same access as the rest of the app — see access and sharing.
While the page is private, your changes are live as you build, with no separate step to publish them — no one else sees the page. If you later want others to read the same figures, share it: from then on your edits wait in a draft until you publish them.
