A handful of keyboard shortcuts speed up the actions you repeat in Pyron — opening search, applying a table filter, and building in the flow-graph editor. On a Mac, hold the Cmd (⌘) key; on Windows and Linux, use Ctrl wherever this page shows Cmd.
Global
One shortcut works from anywhere in Pyron: it opens the search palette. Type to search across your entries, the directory, pages, forms and flow graphs, and the matches appear grouped by kind. Choose a result to jump straight to it, or open the full results page to see everything that matched. You can also open the palette from the search box at the top of the screen.
Tables
When you open a column filter on a table and type a value, press Enter to apply it straight away. In a text filter this also closes the filter menu; in a number-range filter, Enter applies the lower and upper bounds you have set. A filter otherwise applies a moment after you stop typing, so Enter is a way to commit the value at once.
Editors
Pyron's building canvases add their own shortcuts on top of the global one.
Flow-graph editor
The flow-graph editor has the fullest set of shortcuts. They act on the step you have selected and work while the canvas has focus — while you are typing in a step's settings, the ordinary text-editing shortcuts apply instead, so a canvas shortcut never fires mid-edit. Every one also has a button or menu item, so the keyboard is a faster route to the same actions. On a graph you can only view, the shortcuts that change it do nothing, while moving around and zooming still work.
Directory tree and graph
When you look at your directory as a tree or graph and you can rearrange them, hold Shift and drag across the canvas to select several cards at once, then move them together.
